Jim Evans, Associate Broker
In 1991, Jim Evans moved to Boyne City when he took a job at Boyne Mountain. He met and married Jaye lee, who was then working at Boyne Highlands. The Evans family consists of Emilee and Tanner, 15 and 13 respectively. Jim’s first priority is his family, and he strives for great client service and community involvement.
Jim has a BA in economics from the University of Kentucky, and that, along with his friendly, hard-working, intuitive personality, and his love of the outdoors – skiing, cycling, and boating on Lake Charlevoix – became the catalyst for him to get his REALTOR’s license in 1996 and his broker’s license in 2000. In addition, he enhanced his licensure by becoming a United States Green Building Council LEED-NC accredited professional in 2009.
His 15-year career in real estate has been diverse and rewarding, with experience in sales and marketing on numerous projects in the Boyne Area, as well as high end housing in both the waterfront market and ski resort markets. Being an outdoor enthusiast, he takes a special interest in green technologies and practices in building and remodeling projects.
Over the years, Jim has acquired a good number of clients who are unreserved Jim Evans’ fans. They have described him as having “great communications skills,” being “way above the bar,” and a “cool, calm, experienced advisor,” and having “great knowledge, enthusiasm and concern for [his clients’] goals.”
Recently, Pat O’Brien and Associates welcomed Jim to our office as an associate broker. Jim said he looks forward to this (permanent) phase in his career, and to working in an office with an enthusiastic commitment to the Boyne area; a proven sales record and a solid team approach to sales and marketing. |
