Tim Manchester, Associate Broker 

Tim Manchester, a real estate agent at O’Brien and Associates, is a sixth generation Walloon Lake resident – at least part time. He was raised in Kettering, Ohio, and spent every summer of his life on Walloon Lake where his parents and many extended family members have summer homes.

Soon after he graduated from Michigan State University, Tim established full-time residency in Charlevoix County. He started a successful landscaping business, but eventually decided that a career in real estate was better suited to his interests, skills, knowledge and personality.

“I felt I had a lot of familiarity and expertise in the area, and liked the idea of remaining relatively free of a desk and office,” he said. Being raised in the area has given him a life-long knowledge of its people and places, as well as a deep affection for Charlevoix and Emmet counties and the friendly towns that populate them.

On Walloon Lake, Tim is confident he can find the best sunset view, the best sandy shoreline, or the most complete history of a cottage – providing his clients with a nice combination of professionalism and personal touch.
